Thank you to everyone who has supported our organization with both your time and donations!
Union Humane Society came together in November, 2008 with 7 people who believed that a program was needed to protect abused and abandoned animals. Members continue to join our efforts in preventing cruelty and relieving the suffering of animals, educating Union Parish residents to humane treatment and overpopulation of animals and supporting anti-cruelty and animal control laws. We became incorporated and received federal non-profit tax status 501(c)3 in 2009.
Monthly meetings are held on the last Monday of the month at 6 pm at the Franklin St. Baptist Church in Farmerville. You do not have to be a member to attend these meetings.
